Although Kyle Eastwood made some appearances on screen when he was younger, he decided to pursue jazz after his teenage years. While composing several scores for his father, Clint Eastwood, in films like *Mystic River*, *Million Dollar Baby*, and *Letters From Iwo Jima*, he confirmed his career as a musician over the years. He has released a dozen albums and, as a double bassist, has remained true to a traditional and melodic approach to jazz, which he often enriches with lyrical embellishments. “Cinema is my second passion,” he confesses. Thus, it seemed natural for his quintet to now focus on film soundtracks.
