Omara Portuondo enthrals Bahrain audience on her debut at the Spring of Culture Festival


Omara Portuondo continues her tour presenting her latest release, Gracias, an album the singer prepared to mark her 60-year career on stage. For the first time in her career, the Cuban singer travelled to the Persian Gulf to take part in the prominent Spring of Culture Festival, a multidisciplinary event with musical performances, theatre, shows and conferences. This year, the event held on the Arabic island brought together musicians, artists and theoreticians from all over the world including Angelique Kidjo, the Salzburg Marionette Theatre and the Palestine Youth Orchestra led by Edward Said.
