It’s the highly anticipated return of talented Cuban pianist and composer Roberto Fonseca, who accompanied the Orquestra de Ibrahim Ferrer (Buena Vista Social Club) on tour in the early 2000s, and whose own music is deeply rooted in the Cuban tradition while tastefully integrating jazz, funk, classical and African influences. He brings us his latest release, ABUC (2016), which traces the evolution of jazz in his native land. Learn more here.
