What a great way to close 2010, Esperanza Spalding has just been nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist category. In total, there are five artists nominated for this award, reflecting an eclectic mix of best and brightest music over the past year: Mumford & Sons, Florence & The Machine, Drake and Justin Bieber as well as Esperanza.
The Grammy Awards will take place on 13th February 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
