Two more releases coming straight from the oven. Sound Travels is Jack Dejohnette's latest and arguably best album. The New York based drummer counts with an array of collaborators, including vocalists Bruce HornsbyBobby McFerrin and Esperanza Spalding. Also on board are trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire and guitarist Lionel Loueke plus jazz stars such as saxophonist Tim Ries, percussionist Luisito Quintero and pianist Jason Moran. The second release of the week is Mike Stern's new album called All Over the Place that features guest appearances by Randy BreckerRichard Bona, Kenny GarrettEsperanza Spalding, Victor Wooten and many others. This is the second time Esperanza collaborates with the guitarist and hope to come more and more.
