September 13th 2010 Montuno Producciones and Esperanza Spalding hosted a very intimate evening at the Ana Maria Ciccone Theater in Paramus New Jersey at the Bergen Community College for over 200 media professionals and select fans who won tickets to the event. The gala included a reception with drinks and hors’ dourves and a private concert where Esperanza debuted her new Chamber Music Society Ensemble. The evening was the final private dress rehearsal prior to Ms. Spalding’s world tour which embarked this weekend in Iowa. The evening was a stunning success that included a Q&A town hall forum where the guest asked Esperanza questions as it pertained to her new project and career.

On July 3rd, 2009, Montuno productions was the executive producer of the concert offered by L’Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio at the Festival de Barcelona Grec. L’Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio presented their latest production: a job which reinterpreted the Opera of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s The Magic Flute. A musical challenge solved with great sensitivity and large doses of joy.
