This month the Malian singer and guitarist, Vieux Farka Touré, will be in Spain to present his latest album, The Secret ( Six Degrees). The first show will be a the Sa Poble Jazz Festival in Mallorca on Wednesday 17th Aug. He'll then travel up to the Basque Country for a show on Friday 19th Aug at the Bidasoa Folk Festival in Hondarribia. As Vieux himself says, he had to dig deep into the secrets of my own history and my country's culture in order to move the music forward.
