Two Roses: Avishai Cohen

Two Roses: Avishai Cohen

16/03/2021

Avishai Cohen has announced the release of his new album "Two Roses", out on April 16th 2021.
"Avishai Cohen describes his new orchestra album “Two Roses" as a "a once in a lifetime project”. Combining his core trio - Mark Guiliana (d), Elchin Shirinov (p) - with the Göteborgs Symfoniker conducted by Alexander Hanson, Cohen offers a very cinematic recording including his original Jazz and Classical compositions tinted with Mediterranean Folklore influences.

The title “Two Roses” serves as a metaphor for the album’s adept fusion of jazz, and the symphonic world. Cohen’s music is an intricate tapestry of global and historical influence.  A beautiful antique pink and dark green double vinyl edition of “Two Roses” features 2 exclusive bonus tracks ("Seven Seas" & "Overture Noam, Op. 1") in addition to the 12 songs included on the digital and CD album versions. Released via Razdaz Recordz and recorded by Lars Nilsson (Nilento Studio).
