Chamber Music Society Farewell Tour

Chamber Music Society Farewell Tour

On October 16th, the Warner Theater in Washington, DC hosted the last show of Esperanza Spalding's Chamber Music Society Tour. Since the album's release in August 2010, Esperanza has visited four continents and performed over 100 concerts. Always accompanied by excellent musicians, the tour would had not been the same without the presence of Terri Lyne Carrington, Leo Genovese, Richie Barshay, Sara Caswell, Jody Redhage, Lois Martin, Leala Cyr, Olivia de Prato, Gretchen Parlato, and together they have charmed the audiences with "Little Fly", "Apple Blossom", "Wild is the Wind" among other album tracks. Esperanza also took time to share the stage in parallel projects with great musicians like Joe Lovano, Mike Stern, Herbie Hancock, Prince, The Roots, Lionel Loueke, Terri Lyne Carrington, Milton Nascimento and others. In February this year, Esperanza won the Best New Artist 2011 Grammy® Award in Los Angeles.

Thank you very much to all of you who have supported Chamber Music Society around the world.
